- ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for Occupational Health and Safety Management System It establishes a framework for any organization that aims to provide a Safe working place with its Facilities, Infrastructures, Processes, and Activities that supports proactively and continuous prevent Injury and Ill-Health and enhance the OHS Performance of the organization by meeting or exceeding their workers and other interested party’s requirements. ISO 45001:2018 is applicable for OHSMS of all sizes, across all sectors. It specifies OHS performance metrics (KPIs) as and where required.
- This 40 Hours Course aims to enable the delegates to master the audit techniques and become competent in planning, implementing, reviewing, and improving an OHSMS Audit based on ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 19011:2018.
TARGET AUDIENCE
- Any delegates with some understanding of the content, application, development, and implementation of the ISO 45001 series of standards and who wish to subsequently practice as an OHSMS auditor, Management Representatives, internal auditors, 2nd party & 3rd party auditors who are responsible to provide “value-added” OHSMS audit to enable Continual Improvement.
PREREQUISITE
The Delegates are expected to have prior Knowledge on
- The OHS management principles and concepts: The Plan, Do Check, Act (PDCA) cycle; the purpose and benefits of an OHSMS; basic knowledge of managing OHS through hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control, and compliance with legal and other requirements; relevant national and local OHS legislation and requirements; and terms and definitions in ISO 45001.
- The requirements of ISO 45001, may be gained by completing a Foundation Course on OHSMS-based ISO or equivalent.

Delegates shall be assessed throughout the session. Learners must attend an open-book online exam within 30 days of the last day of the course.
